This site is a tribute to David George Semple, husband to Anne, father to Robert and Philip, and grandfather to Mila.

Following his retirement from the NHS Dad enjoyed spending his time doing many activities. These included numerous walks with Mum, (usually involving a tea shop), going on fishing trips with his best friend Alan, going on trips to Corfu with Judith and George, tackling the many puzzles we got him for Christmas as well as visiting his sons and spending time with his granddaughter.

Dad was a great father and a shining example on how to live your life. He was the first point of contact for any problems we may have had and always looked out for others, regularly checking up to make sure they were OK.

Although unexpected, we take heart from the fact that Dad was enjoying his life right until the end and we will always remember him that way. The huge volume of messages of support and the effect the news has had on so many people just goes to show how much he was liked and how much he will be missed.
